Third and final round of community meetings announced for the municipalities of the ABCO Consortium

The Municipalities of the ABCO Consortium (Aibonito, Barranquitas, Comerío and Orocovis), in collaboration with MTCG, announce the third and final round of community meetings for the development of the Regional Public Transportation Plan for the Mountain Region of Puerto Rico.

The theme of the final round of community meetings will be “Crafting a vision of mobility within communities”.

This meeting will enable citizens to specify how they want transit to work within their communities. In the same way an optometrist helps its customer prescribe the type of lens for near-sight vision and far-sight vision, our team of planners will assist community members in defining what types of services are best suited for each neighborhood, what types of vehicles are best suited to their needs (whether transit motorbuses, mini-buses, cutaways or sprinters) and where the services are desired.

The first community meeting is scheduled for May 25, 2022 at the Community Center in Barros, Orocovis (see promo below).
